What is an intelligent building?

It is a building that will perform daily tasks automatically without human intervention: automatic management of individual room temperature (opening or closing thermostatic valves), management of blinds (opening or closing blinds), very important for passive houses, warning residents in the event of fire, intrusion, water leakage or an electrical malfunction...

It will also allow residents to manage the house’s equipment remotely via their Smartphone or with a tablet, such as setting the thermostat or opening and closing doors.

Why is it useful?

 It is an assistant to simplify daily life: in traditional houses, problems are only discovered when it is too late. With the intelligent building, you will be notified directly of the anomaly: e.g. breakdown of fridge, freezer, washing machine, ventilation, or heating. The intelligent building can warn you if there is mail in your mailbox, or if someone is at your door. It can also adapt the light to different times of the day, for example by dimming the lights in the evening (scenario creation).

 To be in a safe environment: the intelligent building is capable of automatically renewing the air when it detects polluted air in a room. It can also detect the presence or absence of movement in the event of a break-in. If a person becomes unwell in an intelligent building, the building sends an alert if it does not detect any movement for a defined period of time.

 To save money: the intelligent building collects all information related to energy consumption. This allows you to monitor your consumption and manage it better on a day-to-day basis, which will help you reduce your electricity bill.
